SUBJECT: Adoption of Revised Implementing Guidelines on Operation Timbang (OPT)

 

The International Reference Standards (IRS) has been adopted in the country as a tool to determine the nutritional status of Filipino children. Pursuant to this, the National Nutrition Council Governing Board has revised the Implementing Guidelines on Operation Timbang (OPT) to be in consonance with the IRS. The Department of Health as member of the NNC Governing Board enjoins all concerned agencies to adhere to the Revised Implementing Guidelines on OPT in the conduct of OPT activities nationwide.
